Follow these instructions to link your custom domain to your website on our platform. This process involves updating your domain’s DNS settings to point to our server.
First, you’ll need to log in to the account where you purchased your custom domain (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Bluehost, etc.).
Once logged in, find the DNS settings or DNS management section for your domain. It’s usually labeled “DNS Settings,” “Manage DNS,” or “Name Server Settings.”
You can point your domain to our platform in two ways: by using nameservers or by using A records. Choose one method.
In your domain’s DNS settings, look for the option to set custom nameservers.
Replace the existing nameservers with the following values:
ns1.dns-parking.com
ns2.dns-parking.com
Save the changes.
Note: It can take up to 24-48 hours for the DNS changes to fully propagate across the internet. During this time, your domain may not immediately point to your site.
If you want to keep using your current nameservers (e.g., for email services), you can point the domain using an A record.
In the DNS settings, look for the section labeled A Records or Add Record.
Add or modify an existing A record with the following details:
157.173.208.214
Save the changes.
This will point your domain (e.g., yourcustomdomain.com
) to your site hosted on our platform.
Once your domain is pointing to our server, log in to your site dashboard on our platform.
yourcustomdomain.com
).Our system will check if your domain is pointing correctly and configure your site accordingly.
To secure your custom domain with HTTPS, you can set up an SSL certificate. If your platform supports automatic SSL, this will be set up once the domain is correctly pointed. Otherwise, you may need to follow instructions provided by your hosting platform.
DNS changes can take up to 24-48 hours to fully propagate. During this time, your domain may not immediately point to your website. You can use tools like WhatsMyDNS to check if your domain is properly resolving.
Once DNS propagation is complete, your custom domain should now be fully pointed to your site on our platform! You can access your website by visiting yourcustomdomain.com
